Continental Jewelry Becomes Continental Wholesale Diamonds

TAMPA, FL - Continental Jewelry has been serving the Tampa Bay Community for 35 plus years.  So two years ago when the owners decided to close their doors and pursue other interests, their largest wholesale supplier from Philadelphia, helped them liquidate the store.

“I was truly impressed with how much the clients loved and respected Continental Jewelry,” says wholesaler Andrew Meyer.  “I saw value in the Continental name and reputation.  So I incorporated Continental into our new name which is Continental Wholesale Diamonds.  We will honor all of Continental Jewelry’s past trade-ins and active warranties.”

The new owner found an ideal retail location near the International Plaza just a few blocks north of the Continental Jewelry location on Westshore Blvd.  The new location which opened in 2013 is smaller and more efficient on the first floor of the Westshore Center Building across from Ruth Chris‘ Steakhouse and next to Brides by Demetrios.

“Being involved in the Tampa Bay community is a priority for us,” explains Continental Store Director, William McMonnies.  “In 2013 we donated over $20,000 to various charities including the American Cancer Society, Birdies for the Brave part of the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, and The Tampa Woman’s Club.  We are also actively involved in the Westshore Alliance, Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA), Tampa Bay Business Owners (TBBO), and the Jewish National Foundation (JNF).”

Continental Wholesale Diamonds offer consumers the opportunity to purchase certified loose diamonds, designer engagement rings & wedding bands, diamond stud and hoop earrings, and gold and silver fashion jewelry at wholesale prices, direct from the supplier.  For more information about Continental Wholesale Diamonds or Continental Jewelry call 813.282.7375, like us on Facebook, online
